Although the lesson content is deep and the breadth of coverage extensive, this program sorely lacks interactivity and multimedia features. The subject matter, which is presented primarily via text and illustration, covers basic math, algebra and geometry. You'll also find chapters on biology, earth science, oceanography and astronomy. Lessons offer limited interactivity. There are sample exercises in which students can fill in an answer, but there is no sound, narration or video. On the positive side, the software supports 49 state- standardized tests, making it a useful teacher resource. As an ongoing tutorial, however, it will put the kids to sleep.

This product is great for serious math learning. There are too many educational products our there that are too "gamey". Middle School Deluxe is a great resource to have in the house especially when my kids are doing their homework. We use it as a math encyclopedia
