From Children's Software Revue® -- "Subscribe Now!"
A solid resource, this encyclopedia comes on one CD ( a deluxe version with more features is available). Features include 77,000 articles, 50,000 web links, 11,000 images, 700 audio clips and 19 videos. Additional content includes timelines, an atlas, a dictionary and a research center for help with report writing. Free monthly article updates are available. The reference is fairly easy to use, but somewhat disappointing in depth of content. We found ourselves wishing for more text, pictures and media on the subjects we looked up. Nonetheless, this is a respectable encyclopedia, especially considering the price. If you have a choice, however, go with World Book or Encarta instead.
